244491  Dr Awkward: Haha, there is a whole set of pictures of dudes with beards looking straight up. It is straight up disturbing.

244489  Shay: Prince Alarming is on his way.

244493  Warrax: Weirdest 3 year old birthday party I've ever been to. Cake was good though.

244466 barfolomew: 9. It actually looks pretty comfy.

244419 jazzjunkie: Scientists used to think that long flowing dresses dragged on the ground like a T-Rex tail. The modern assumption is that long flowing dresses (much like a T-Rex tail) are held aloft, aiding with balance and maneuverability at high speeds.

244280 jazzjunkie: Classic Max

244294 FireBreathingMarmot: "Where did I go wrong - eating a bowl of glitter, or thinking I could hold back that sneeze..."

244222 White Rice: @wolfpk yeah he did try that (and if failed spectacularly, fortunately) but he still has way too many fans who think he didn't (and couldn't) do any wrong. That kind of stuff wasn't cool when "shock-jocks" were trying it on the radio, and surprisingly it still isn't cool (outside of 14 year old "edgy" boys).

244301 piranharama: Paranoia in a space station tho...

Mexico: @LaeMi I recommend you read about Kansas right now under Sam Brownback. You want a disaster, you've got a disaster.
LaeMi: @carpwoman - and flounder he will! You can't run a government like a business. We had an entire large state try that back in the 90's. Their economy tanked and I think some of them are still in prison.
carpwoman: @LaeMi - That's where the fun will come in. Watching Twitler flounder.
LaeMi: Anyway, I'm off to my physiotherapy, which my society's medicare pays for because if they didn't I'd be unfit to work and they would have to pay me sickness benefits instead of me paying them income tax. What a parasite! :-P
LaeMi: @carpwoman - but what the POTUS wants to do and what the POTUS is allowed/able to do are quite different things. A lesson I feel Trump, in particular, is blissfully and hilariously unprepared for. I get the feeling he thinks it will be like being a 16th century monarch or a 20th century dictactor.
carpwoman: @LaeMi - If he quits we get Mike Pence who wants me to be electrocuted for being gay. Not fun.
LaeMi: Back when the first Independence Day came out, one of our comedy shows did an 'Australia Day' sketch where aliens were destroying our most significant national landmarks (the Big Pinapple, the Big Banana, the Big Prawn, etc.). We beat them by having Pauline Hanson (our local version of ?Sarah Palin?) yell at them about bringing their foreign food and customs into our country. The alien invaders, wisely, shot through.
LaeMi: For some reason I had it in my head that Australia day was Jan 21st. It is, of course, Jan 26th. I am a real patriot, aren't I!
LaeMi: Heh. The anti-Trump protest is on tomorrow (not Australia day, as I previously believed) in Sydney. Yes. Not even our country/president. I can't be bothered to go up and laugh at them. I may not think much of the guy, but he was elected fair and square (well as fair as the - mathematically proven - worst voting system currently in popular use allows, anyway. But the rules were the same for both sides).
LaeMi: @carpwoman - don't worry. The real power of the POTUS is hugely over-rated (mainly by Hollywood portrayals). My money is on 6-months in he will get bored and frustrated, quit, and be replaced with whatever cookie-cutter career politician falls off the conveyor next. Nothing real will actually change in any meaningful way. In other worlds, a slightly more entertaining version of business-as-usual. As much as I want to believe something might be learned from this, it won't be.
carpwoman: The only thing I pray for is that Twitler doesn't get us all killed. Oh, and that the next 4 years are just freaking hilarious. We're all going to need the distraction of laughter. OH! And that Alec Baldwin doesn't die. This is gonna be fun.
LaeMi: @tomatosaws - I know I say all sorts of outrageous things that I may or may not entirely believe on this site, for the sake of humor, but I am dead strait in disliking broader humanity enough to be honestly looking forward to being genuinely entertained by what is coming. It won't be the 'end of days' (sadly) but it will be a right knee-slapper!
 tomatosaws: @LaeMi looool
tomatosaws: All aboard, all aboard, all aboard Amtrak!
hat thrab: @SunWukong I'm drawing all my faith in humanity from the Trump Regrets twitter.
Borkf: @LaeMi @SunWukong That was a nice calm, measured discussion, so well done all. I also live in hope that the mask will come off, but knowing how things work, it won't swing back the other way in the US (or probably anywhere else in the world) for another decade.
LaeMi: In respect of the mod's 'no socio-political slapfights' policy, I'm going to close my opinions on this topic here. I'm getting bored with inconsequential local politics for now anyway :-/
LaeMi: "Them" don't really matter in the end. It is the rest that will benefit long-term. My empathy for the self-harmed long ago ran out.
SunWukong: @LaeMi There will be no wake up for them. His failures will be blamed on "the establishment", the media, foreigners, Muslims, Feminazi's, SJW's, Cucks and anyone else who disagrees that they can invent a lame pejorative for.
LaeMi: @Bast Relief - and the biggest wake-up will be for the loonies who voted for him. The schadenfreude is surely worth a few decades global socio-economic setback!
Bast Relief: @LaeMi No. Hush now.
LaeMi: @Bast Relief - I'm kind of looking forward to Trump. While I expect a lot of pain and misery for many, it will hopefully be the wake-up call the entire world is much in need of.
Bast Relief: Nobama! Don't leave us!

 Ulillillia: Don't say I didn't, say I didn't, warn ya

LaeMi: @a robot - I hate congealing blood. It's sticky and it gets in everywhere...
a robot: Blood, congealing blood and bleach are fine. It's Taylor Swift that is truly distasteful. I say this as a 'bot that is forced to listen to about six of her songs on corporate retail muzik every single day :(
