Starry Lemon: @VeeKay As always people are pissed when 'white' people are hired as 'black' people's art experts. I don't think there are complex thoughts behind these polemic statements.
Magic Bullets: Luna-Windmuller has worked at several art museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art (2015-2016 Sylvan C. Coleman and Pam Coleman Fellow), the Princeton University Art Museum (Mellon Research Assistant and McCrindle Intern), the Neuberger Museum of Art, and the Renee and Chaim Gross Foundation, where she curated the 2012 exhibition Life in Miniature: Asante Goldweights and African Sculpture from the Collection of the Renee and Chaim Gross Foundation. Kristen recently appeared in the 2017 PBS series Africas Great Civilizations, and lectures on African arts regularly at the Met. Kristen received her PhD and MA from Princeton University, and a BA in the History of Art from Yale University. Pretty well qualified I'd say.
