238075 antipatterns: Lol the dude who invented the Cherokee language basically did it alone in his house and everyone in the village thought he was crazy. Took him years and multiple attempts with ideograms and others to devise the modern 86 character Cherokee language. Wild story.

Mr Bleak: @Nope A pug that farts a lot is my spirit animal.
Peter Pantsless: @fanny *cheesy 80s explosion effect*
zrj235: @Teechur I have seen a dog with a nose ring. I can't imagine it was voluntary, but he didn't seem to mind. Dogs are cool like that.
fanny: @Peter Pantsless just imagine if this was taken...IN SPACE
Teechur: The dog needs some face hardware, too. Or would that be animal cruelty.
 Coolguy: Fancy l
Peter Pantsless: Three of my favorite things: dogs, freckles, and heterochromia; all the rads
Mr. Shine: How rich do you have to be to have solid gold boogers?!
zrj235: everything about this picture makes me happy. rad.
Nope: My dog twin is a pug that farts a lot... :(

 Air Biscuit: B.soda
Not A Bot: Just use these pipe cleaners and a stapler and you can make this snake into your own bunny! It's like playing God!
Warrax: You can spell out butt powder and butt soda. It's not a dirty word.
zrj235: @sparename thank you. it is, in fact, time to go get more beer. brb.
sparename: Beer? I'll forget beer if you don't remind me..
 Nope: This Ipad is weird

Annoying Vegan : @tib gubb actually its pronounced cheeseborkfer
 zrj235: results inconclusive.
 tib gubb: cheeseborker
Sadbot: Results inconclusive due to inadequate sample size

Mr Bleak: @bug The bin beside it?
bug: Guess where the toilet is.
 Robespierre: Studio apt E V'lage 5200/mo+
Eleftheros: This is how London hotel designers actually sink
zrj235: oh, hi! i didn't hear you come in. this is my sink.

zrj235: i invented one recently called KUNG FU KITCHEN. 523 bonus points if you can guess how to play.
zrj235: side question: does anyone play real-life games anymore? i mean the ones that don't involve electronic devices.
zrj235: @GoGo Robotto i remember the original of that game from like 15 years ago. fuck yes.
GoGo Robotto: @zrj235 That's the one, yep. I must say I'm pretty good with the grappling hook (ninja rope)
zrj235: @GoGo Robotto like the one where you run around and have a few dozen guns and a grappling hook and also you're a worm what can dig tunnels and shit?
Mr. Shine: @zrj235 Well, you start with a blank grid, but I believe everyone's map is the same at go.
GoGo Robotto: I'm playing Worms W.M.D. on Switch. It's great and I'm glad the series is still ongoing - Worms 1 was my first PC game. Also O recently played Doki Doki Literature Club... you may have heard of it because it became viral. This game surely had an impact on me!
zrj235: @antipatterns holy fucking shit that looks cool
zrj235: @antipatterns another one i haven't heard of. googling now. thank you.
antipatterns: @zrj235 Rimworld has occupied a lot of the space that DF used to. For me, anyway.
zrj235: @Sadbot yeah, it's buggy but it works. pick a squad, send em on a mission to recover an artifact or tome or a hostage or just cause trouble. also artifacts are made during worldgen now. and gods and demons and angels are much more important. it's almost too complicated to play now. in a good way.
Sadbot: @zrj235 I think I played an update with multi-tile trees, but raiding is new...and sounds great. Time to make a fortress that menaces with spikes of hamster bone...
zrj235: @Mr. Shine procedurally-generated maps, items, creatures, etc. meaning that everything is semi-random every time you play. and also if you die, your save file is deleted permanently.
Mr. Shine: @zrj235 Not sure what rogue-like refers to.
 zrj235: @Mr. Shine rogue-like?
zrj235: @Mr. Shine that actually does sound pretty cool
Mr. Shine: @zrj235 Etrian Odyssey is excellent because it is a labyrinth-style RPG where you have to hand-draw your own maps as you go. Literal game-changer.
zrj235: @Sadbot i just got back into it after years away, and holy fuck has toady one been busy. multi-tile trees, you can send squads to raid other sites in fortress mode, it runs faster, etc etc etc i could go on.
Sadbot: @zrj235 Dwarf Fortress is great, I should see how that's doing, try and get a depressed dwarf to make crafts with materials from the graveyard. And MGSV, no babies, but I have shot a few child soldiers in the head with a tranq dart and sent them into the sky with a weather balloon
zrj235: @Mr. Shine nice. jrpg style isn't really my thing anymore but i do appreciate a complicated game. rainy evening, drink a beer or three, throw a baby in a pond. u know, like every saturday night.
zrj235: @Mr. Shine i've never heard of either of those games but i'm lookin em up right now
Mr. Shine: @zrj235 in Peasant's Quest, you throw a baby into a pond as a quest action. If I remember, it retrieved a meatball sub.
Mr. Shine: @zrj235 I am simultaneously playing Etrian Odyssey V and Conception II: Children Of The Seven Stars. Also, not throwing any babies.
zrj235: @Mr. Shine no i'm playing dwarf fortress. this thread is now about throwing babies/what game are you playing currently. either or both. discuss.
Mr. Shine: Are you playing Peasant's Quest?(tm)

well duh: This is fantastic! I've got my cabinets, tile and appliances all picked out. Can you get started before I choose countertops?
tib gubb: it's not that i'm disappointed, it's just not what i expected
zrj235: i hope they all went to good homes and are ok.
