233004  Teechur: @Nope And I defend your right to keep that anthrax paperweight.

233022  Peter Pantsless: @ignatz I always thought the spelling of that word was weird, and the Euro spelling is even weirder

233022  zrj235: I... don't have words. They should have sent a poet.

233020  Nope: Sugar Ray fell on some hard times

233009  Sadbot: @ping thanks for that, much funnier and nobody killed a bunch of kids with a Saturn V recently...or ever

233004  Nope: @Teechur My vial of anthrax makes a nice paperweight. More people have been harmed by McDonald's than MY vial.

233004  Chest Rockwell: Translation: We're all unarmed, come rob us!

233004  Chest Rockwell: @Side Boob That's exactly what I do.

233001  Teechur: Is this what you turn into if you eat one?

233004  Teechur: @Nope Mine only punches holes in paper targets. More people have been harmed by social media than by my firearms.

233018  Dresdenkeogh: Day 3. The others have yet to realize that I am not bread.

233021  Dresdenkeogh: Need condoms? Maybe look somewhere that doesn't contain jerky. This isn't my house this is a store.

233021  grizzly: Whenever I bought condoms, I let the cashier know that they were for my penis.

233008  zrj235: it's missing pumpkin spice

233009  zrj235: from my cold dead holdy hand things

233010  zrj235: haha oh wow i remember this game wow. i wish i didn't but i do.

233012  Chest Rockwell: The people that this message is intended for probably don't use their mirrors.

233009  ping: This reminds me of xkcd's Up Goer Five (xkcd.com/1133/)

233011  zrj235: anything is a heart if you're brave enough

233015  Peter Pantsless: The kid is a master strategist

Peter Pantsless: @funny in the wall I've actually never seen Jason X. But yeah, gratuitous violence is funny, but the more real it gets, the less I can look at it (worth noting that clinical gore aka surgery doesn't bother me). Sometimes the gross-out factor is actually a good thing, though. Let's go back to "The Martian"; that scene did a lot to keep me invested in the character as a real person. Context rules, I guess
funny in the wall: I agree, destroyed flesh always grossed me out. I never got how it's supposed to be scary, it's just cringeworthy. Atmosphere and psychological aspects of terror are much more compelling. The movie I mentioned didn't seem particularly gross because it seems like it was made to be campy. Then again, I saw it once in the theaters 17 years ago. It could be total trash for all I know @Felicity @Peter Pantsless
Peter Pantsless: @funny in the wall I think cartoony violence like you see in Mortal Kombat or Tom & Jerry or Doom is hilarious, but realistic gore grosses me out. That scene in (for example) the movie version of *spoiler alert* "The Martian" where Matt Damon has to staple himself back together is a little too gross for me. One of the few movies I thought was on par with the book, btw
Felicity: @funny in the wall I gave it a chance because David Cronenberg acted in it. I didnt find it enjoyable.
funny in the wall: @Peter Pantsless Jason X. Actually I am not a fan of slashers but this one was so intentionally over the top, it was like a self-parody.
Cami: Racism! Can I join in?
Jabberwikket: Hey! Can't you see I'm morphin' here !
Jabberwikket: Oh, you don't like that, Paulie? Blow me with both mouths
Jabberwikket: I'm gonna "burst" your freakin chest, if you don't start handing over the cannoli
Peter Pantsless: @duckfarts Nevermind, YOU'RE the worst monster :P
Peter Pantsless: @funny in the wall *facepalm* of course there was. Goddammit. I'll bet it didn't even work.
funny in the wall: There was a space Jason movie where they tried to kill him with a hull breach@Peter Pantsless
duckfarts: @DrinkMixMan The Italian is actually my favorite movie monster. It's not magic like Krueger or Vorhees, and it doesn't have eyes! You can kill it, but not without a hull breach. Freaking terrifying
Peter Pantsless: @DrinkMixMan Freaking terrifying ;)
DrinkMixMan: @Peter Pantsless And how do you feel about Italians?
 Scoo: Ayyyyyy I'm lmao here
Peter Pantsless: The xenomorph is actually my favorite movie monster. It's not magic like Krueger or Vorhees, and it doesn't have eyes! You can kill it, but not without a hull breach. Freaking terrifying
